Could someone please tell me the correct color and the number of teeth for the transmission speedometer gear for a 1972 manual 4-spd, 3:36 axle ratio, and original F-70-15 tires. Thanks in advance..Rich

My 73 part book, group 4.337 indicates that a 72 with F70 tires uses a 3987921 speedometer driven gear for the transmission--and that gear is a red, 21-tooth gear. Hope that helps.
