I am working on the reassembly of my 65 chassis. I have the original WB2C end link bolts. 5/16 bolt with a 3/8 bolt head(9/16 wrench)fine thread. The repo. bolts I got in my front susp. kit are all wrong, of course! My dilemna is, my original bolts were rusted enough where the bushings slide on and off way too easy. Am I going to have a handling problem. These bushings I believe were made to fit a 3/8 bolt shaft not my 5/16. Does someone make the correct endlink bolt and bushing kit or should I use my old ones and live with it for now?? Thanks!

Re: Front stabilizer bar end link bolts bolts
Dick,
I am also working on the front & rear suspension of my '65. If you want a WB2C head stamp bolt, you can find it in Paragon kit 1497K. I ordered this kit a few weeks ago.
I will honestly tell you that the head stamp and area around it are NOT identical to your originals, but they may be close enough. The nut is not as thick as the originals and the washers are not exactly the same.
I decided to purchase new rubber cushions and reuse all my existing hardware. But I'm very particular. Maybe too particular.
My new rubber bushings slide over the bolts easily. For that matter, so do the new Paragon's, but when the whole assembly is tightened down it should be fine.
I know that this is a long posting. (Sorry, guys). Feel free to Email me if you want to discuss further. If you check the Paragon catalog and determine that it is satisfactory, I'll provide it to you at a discount.
