Caliper mount and dust shield zinc?

What is a good way to get a zinc plating on these parts. I have the Eastwood kit but don't know if it will work for such large parts. I used the Eastwood (silver cad) aerosol spray on my original, some rust pits, dust shields and they just don't look good compared to my new repo. Vansteel trailing arms dust shields. Any thoughts or opinions??

    Dick,
If you are intending on flight judging then sending out to a plater is the answer. I would expect the pitting will still be noticeable to some extent.
The painting idea will still look like paint but you can prep the parts so pitting is not visible. I have not had success with home plating on bigger parts. NOS or repro is another option. Be carefull in repro selection. Look for correct markings as you originals have.
