    Fall Chapter Flight Judging?

I would like to have my 73 re-flight judged in the fall, late Sept, or Oct. Is any one here aware of a meet within say, 100 miles of Baltimore, Maryland? If so please reply so I can regester ASAP. THANKS.

    Gregg,

Check the list of meets on the back of the Driveline. It's the only comprehensive source and listing of meets available.

Your only luck might be in the Philadelphia area, as I know New Jersey already had their Chapter Meet. I don't have my copy here at work to review.

I know that it is more than 100 miles but the Carolina Chapter is having a chapter meet in Banner Elk, NC in September. I am not sure of the date you can check the DriveLine. I do know that late registration begins after September 1st so come and have some fun.

Check the Delaware Valley Chapter. I believe there is something scheduled for October 12.

The Delaware Valley Chapter is having a Chapter meet on October 12, 2003. The meet will be at Bryner Chevrolet; 140 York Road; Jenkintown, PA. I would suggest you contact Elaine Raisner at delvalter@aol.com asap.

Thanks John. I had found that and was trying in vain to find more info within their site and could not locate anything. But, thats the one I was fishing for.

                Mike,

If I can Top Fight the car, absolutely. I have a 91 point 2nd Flight now and I am hoping the changes and improvements I have made will get me in the blue ribbon crowd. Wish me luck.

It is a great event. It is indoors !! The judges are top shelf and very courteous. This group will actually take the time to answer your questions about what they judged -- of course when they are finished judging your car. I recvd my Top Flight their.

Good Luck -- probably see you there

                    Why I ask is

that I hope to judge at next year's event, and the last few years there have been very few (or none at all) 73-74 cars.

I also emailed you directly on a related topic.

                        Mike,

There were a LOT more post-67 cars at Hershey than the ridiculously poor showing we had at Monterey. In fact, I even brought one myself.

But, and no offense meant to our wonderful PA hosts, the ambiance at Monterey was far better. It likely doesn't help that I used to live not too far from Hershey, and it wasn't new to me.

I'm hoping to vacation in Monterey in March.
