    C1 Radio Bowtie

The little blue and red bowtie that attatches to the speaker grill on my '56 needs replacing. If my hands were steadier, I would paint it as it is in good condition except for the paint. Does anyone know of a supplier that handles them? I checked some catalogs with no luck. Anyone out there with an NOS one? Thanks.

      Steve,
IMHO it's always best to utalize an original part whenever possible. That said, consider taking the little emblem to a fair size hobby shop and ask who might be willing to paint this part for a little $$. Some of these guys that do model layouts (trains/ solders, etc) are really good at small detail. Regrds,
