    65 Power Antenna Switch help!

My power antenna switch on my 65 started sticking last year. I was too slow in repairing it, and eventually it stuck down, and burned out the antenna motor. I've replaced the antenna/motor, but my attempts to fix the switch have met with failure. The Bezel is in great shape, but I can't find a switch to replace the failed unit. Complete replacement of the switch and harness is not an option, and least I've been told by the good folks at Long Island Corvette that the replacement units are no longer being made (plus, when available they are pretty pricey). Any suggestions? I've tried the usual - RadioShack has a very small switch that will work (I've got one on order) but it doesn't look anything like the original. Industrial units tend to be way too big...

Used originals show up with reasonable frequency at swap meets if you're willing to stroll and bide your time. You'll also find 'em in Driveline ads both NOS and good used (be prepared for major $$$ on NOS switches). If you're in a hurry and price isn't the object, you can contact the houses that specialize in original/Last Of The Mohican parts like Corvette Central, JT Piper, and Paragon.

Last, I vaugely remember Paragon was thinking of tooling a repro switch. Don't know status and haven't looked for this part in the new catalog that came out last month, but it's worth a query call.
