    Muncie 4-speed

Is it normal for a Muncie 4-speed to drip a little oil if it is full of the right amount of oil and tilted so that it is almost standing on end (bellhousing end up)?

I would expect some leakage if the transmission were oriented in the position you describe. If the rear transmission yoke were not installed, then I would expect MAJOR leakage of transmission gear lube with the transmission oriented in the "upright" position. However, I'd also replace the rear seal and check the output yoke outer surface for wear. If the output yoke outer surface is worn or irregular, then you'll also need to replace the extension housing bushing as well as the yoke.
