My 66 BB (L72) starts fine and seems to run well except for the throttle sticking after it warms up. I have found that after I drive for nearly 2 miles the idle will not return to 800 rpm when I push in the clutch and stop,it will stay where it was last running until I bump the gas pedal. I have checked the linkage and can find nothing binding. I am assuming that the internal carb linkage may be sticking after it heats up. Have any of you experienced this, and if so what remedy do you recomend?
