    65 Interior paint color

I am trying to get the original color paint for my blue interior on my '65 coupe. There are 3 different paint codes and I am having trouble with the paint for the dash and heater panels. The paint code is 13069 which is a low gloss Medium Dark Blue. The local paint shop tells me that the formula is no longer available. He called into PPG as well as checking his computer.

My options are to have them match the paint to the panel that I have or try to find the formula. I am inclined to go the paint matching route which will be a manual operation. My original panel is in rough shape but the original blue was still there after I stripped the balck paint off. Any other suggestions? I assume this is a solid color with no metallic like the Nassau Blue on the exterior.

    Thanks for your thoughts,
    Rob

You have the Ditzler/PPG code - try the DuPont code of 9223-LH

      Rob,

Are you looking for a new part or used parts?

          Try also Dupont 9189-LH

In addition to the '65 Corvette interior color Loren has posted, I have a sheet of actual color chips that shows Loren's 9223-LH (called Medium Blue) as well as [Corvette] 9189-LH (Medium Dark Blue). Both colors are called "flat" with the note: "Requires the addition of 2 oz. DuPont #4528 Flattening Compound to a pint of unreduced color."
