    57' Fuel Line Filter

What is the correct Fuel Line Filter for a August 30, 1957 build date car with a 2X4 engine? Many THANKS again for all of the excellent information.

    Best Wishes!

    Bob

    Bob:
According to the judging guide, the element is porous reddish ceramic. It is not a pleated paper filter as you see on some Corvettes. The correct ones are still being reproduced.

Bob: as previously noted, the ELEMENT is as described but if you're asking about the filter itself, you need a n AC Domed fiter with Large AC logo embossed on top of filter . the glass bowl of the will also have AC molded in the bottom of the bowl. These filter usually are offered at swap meets for 50 to 75 bucks but i've removed them from junk yard pontiacs, buicks and oldsmobiles of similar vintage. good luck, mike
