Does anyone out there have a NOS over the counter 67 BB hood? I would like to determine a couple of details. Does anyone out there have a 67 BB hood that has provisions for the hood support on both sides? Will everyone out there that has an original 67 BB look at them and tell me if it has a small hole for a push in fastener in the end of the rear ledge weatherstrip. Thanks.

I have a '67 BB hood. I've owned it since '78 and it wasn't new then. If this qualifies as an original then here we go:
The hood has push pin holes for the weatherstrip centered just about on the male latch pin.
The hood inner panel has two holes on the left side with a threaded reinforcement plate riveted to the innner for the hood support. The right side has the holes in the inner panel but no reinforcement plate to attach the support to. -

Wayne, I have an early '67 car, original hood, and no provision for hood support other than driver-side. I can see no pin hole, but with so much glue, there is no way to tell .

The hole should be where the weatherstrip ends. There was a push in rivet in the end of the weatherstrip. I do not know if early cars had this feature.Comment
