Old age... I made a mistake and did not have my password at work to respond earlier. Where I said Kondar I meant Prima. When I was looking at laquer, the DZ Kondar was the surfacer that was suggested. What I am using is the K36 Prima.

I was out at the farm sanding tonight it (DPLF & K36) seem to work very well. Hopefully I will have color on Sunday...

Dave, your paint system sounds like the same system that Dick Whittington recommended. Good luck on the color...let us know how it comes out.
