    C-1 fornt suspension

Just doing some rough measurments on my 1960 I discovered that the left front tire is leaning way out at the bottom. The right front is just the opposite. There is not enough adjustment left on either side to bring them to a more verticle position. Thanks in advance for any advice on a course of action.

wally: did you review the c-1 shop manual and are certain there isn't enough adjustment to correct the mis-alignment? If the susp alignment isn't doable, i'd suspect the frame or front crossmember is bent seconday to a previous accident. good luck, mike

A badly worn kingpin will also cause this problem, but it would be a little unusual for only one side to be affected.

Your Upper outer A arm has a cam to adjust this. You'll need to find a shop qualified to align these cars. I just had my 58 done.
        Good luck.
