    C3...Side window adjustment

Can anyone tell me where to find online the info on adjusting the side windows. My drivers window is not fully closing, about a 1/2" gap at the top and it is too close to the SS trim at the front.
    Thanks in advance.

    Bruce----

There are 2 places to find it the side window adjustment procedure. One is in the Chevrolet or Corvette Chassis Service Manual applicable to your car. The other is in the AIM applicable to your car.

If you read both of these procedures carefully, you will note that they are virtually completely different. How can that be? That's a good question. Which procedure to use? Why, the one in the AIM, of course. The service manual procedure will leave you frustrated to the point that the window gap won't bother you anymore. If you use the one in the AIM, though, you might just be able to solve your problem.

My theory: the procedure in the AIM was developed to allow assembly workers to efficiently build the car, get it out the door and SOLD. The service manual procedure was developed for use by dealers' service departments or customers AFTER THEY ALREADY OWNED THE CAR. Thus, the difference.

Thanks Joe......I knew there was a simpler method around other than the service manual. It might as well be written in Greek.
