    75 conv

    questions:

    1) Does anyone know the color combination breakdowns for a 75 conv red/red white soft top red hard top???????

    2) I need help in the placement of the engine coolant decal, does it go in thr middle or near the top of the overflow tank!!!!. Also does the HARRISON AC DECAL GO in the same direction or fashion as the 78-82 c3 cars do, or as far as placement.

    3) Could any one give me a fair market value on a 1975 red/red 2 top car with orig paint and interior with 30,000 orig miles. all options but L-82

    Thanks

    Re: 75 conv

    Steve,

    In regards to your questions:

    1) I can't answer this question.

    2) The assembly manual shows the engine coolant decal wrapping around the corner from the top of the overflow tank to the side. I've never seen one like this. My original one was planted in the middle of the side of the tank. I've seen others that were totally on the top of the tank. I suspect the exact placement of this sticker was not a high priority to the lads in St. Louis.

I can't remember how the AC decals are in the 78-82's go, so I won't comment on that part of your question.

    3) Fair market value can depend on many things, and whether you're buying or selling. The ASKING price of a decent '75 convertible typically seems to range from $14,000 to $18,000. You didn't say whether or not you have a manual tranny or an auto, but if you have an automatic L-48, then you are probably looking at mid-teens ($14,000-$16,000).
