Are the top frames and hardware identical for all years from 63-67? I have a new black top installed on a '64 that I recently purchased and would like to trade with someone who has a white top and I want to be sure I advertise for the right config in the Driveline. Am I assuming correctly that a properly installed and fitted top on one car would bolt right onto another C2 without any issues? It seems it would be easier to trade tops and frames but maybe I'm dreaming. Or should I just bite the bullet and buy a white top?

Re: C2 Convertible Top Frame Question
David,
------There was a change as well.Up to 65 I think they were app.the same.Sometime during 65 or possibly between 65 and 66 the first bow behind the front bow went from a round one peice unit to a somewhat oval two peice affair with squared off ends.If you have the correct rivets you can switch the bow from one top to another,if you were switching tops with somebody that has the other style, but it seems like a bit too much work,IMHO.Take the top you have off its frame carefully and you may have something saleable to recoup some of your costs............Bill S- Top
