    Crank Scrapers

How will they affect engine output? Can and should I use them with the original windage tray? If they are worthwhile installing, then where can I get them?

    Thanks in advance.

they do not do much till the 6000+ rpm,i would just stick with the windage tray. they can be bought from moroso. i have only used them with oil pans that have a special side pocket for the oil to go.

Thanks Clem. I have to remove the pan to install the windage tray (which I omitted originally), so thought that while inside, if there was anything more I could add to beef up the bottom end.

BTW: This all started with a broken dipstick tube. Maybe that was all for the best--the tube and gauge rod were "wrong" anyway. So, one thing leads to another.
