I thought it closed a few years ago, and that all of the cars were sold off. Chuck

It closed a few years ago and the cars auctioned off. Some of the dioramas were going to be donated to the National museum.

It closed in 1998. I made a "goose chase" there to look at a Bogus misrepresented LS6 car. The bank took over the museum and handled the liquidation of the cars during 1998. Many of the cars looked real good but were missing key components that you could not see by museum inspection. I remember seeing a 58 FI car that lacked the complete engine internals. The owner of the museum was sadly excluded from the liquidation and the bank handled it aggressively. I looked to be a nice place but obviously it didn't work financially.

In 1999 I was touring in N.Y. State in my 57 and turned around in a G.M. Dealers lot, there I saw a 57 FI car that I was told came from the auction at the museum. I was about to drive over till I happened onto the car by chance.
