My headlights are very dim so I removed each low beam head lamp, cleaned the brass contacts on the back and re-installed hoping that this would help. It did not as the light remains very dim to the point were it almost not safe to drive the car at night. What should I do next to correct this situation? Should I invest in a new set of low beam head lamps? Thanks

Re: C2 Head Lights
First, clean and verify the ground; everything on the front end (headlights, parking lights, headlight motors, etc.) share a common single ground connection. It's at the radiator support by itself on '63-'65, and under the horn relay attaching screw for '66-'67 (make sure there's a star washer between the ring terminal and the radiator support surface to cut paint). T-3's weren't the brightest headlights in the world compared to what we have today, but they need a good ground to do their best.- Top
