Hi, I have a 1967 L-71 conv. and am trying to find out about how many were made with my color. It is Tuxedo black with bright blue interior and a blue stinger. These are the original colors. I have never seen another one like it and am assuming it is pretty rare. Any help would be greatly apprciated. thanks-Jason

Re: 1967 Odd Paint Combination....
Just being a black 1967 is rare enough. Only 815 black cars out of a total production of 22,940. That interior color was available, but I do not have a reference on how many made. I would have an expert look at your trim tag to verify that it really is a black car. THAT is the RARE part of your question. Hope that helps a little. Mike Chase- Top

Re: 1967 Odd Paint Combination....
Jason I know of an L-88 car like yours, with those same colors in Minneapolis. This car was in Bloomington Gold Special collection at least once. I saw it there and also in the gentlemans shop at his home. It was built for a GM executive, special order. Your are in good company if it is real. Find previous owners? If I was you, I would haul it to an NCRS national or Bloomington Gold show and have it judged. Irregardless of condition. I'm not saying you will get either, don't care about any award. If it is real, they would all love to dig into it. Just go with the proper honest attitude; education and documentation. Good Luck!- Top

------I hope I dont get flamed, but I believe that Mr.Zips old L88,now located in Minneapolis is black on black with a bright blue hood stripe.Tony DiLorenzo was the original owner,I believe.A good race driver as well!
------What horsepower is your car?The Texas car(now)is the 400 A.C car that some of us(pretty much anyone who has laid eyes on it) have drooled over in the past.A truly exceptional Corvette. The new owner E-mailed me pictures a while back, one of which showed it with the blue soft-top up.The car is just striking!.........Bill S- Top
