Two or three weeks ago, a thread was started by someone looking for a source for the Vehicle Certification Label found on the driver's door of C-3's. I purchased one for our 1972 from Jim Osborn Reproductions (Osborn-Reproductions.com) a number of years ago. From his on-line catalog, it looks as if DC1318 is the number for '68-'74 models. He also has sunvisor labels listed, although they are identified as 'sleeves', and therefore may differ from original examples that are adhered to the visor.
I also ordered the clear mylar overlay from Osborn. Your experiences with printing on the label mirror mine exactly: No matching font, and inability to successfully print on the label's slick surface.
So, on the door jamb, is a verrrry faintly printed, incorrectly 'fonted' label. Original? Nope. Personally satisfying? Yeah, a little bit.
