    T-Top stainless trim rivets?

Does anyone know where to get the "correct style" rivets for the stainless trim to be re-attached to the T-top panel. They seem to be a large flat round straight edge style? Any ideas? Thanks, Warren

If memory serves this was a McMaster-Carr item. Probably a lot in a box. They have an excellent on-line catalog, if you want a bunch of them.

Terry: Thanks, I'll need 4 for just the one top. I appreciate the response, Warren

I seem to remember the rivits to be counter sunk rather than flat.

Sal, I seem to remember countersinking machine screws (not rivets) used either on the hardware or the stainless trim or both. These screws are like #10 X 3/8" long. They appeared to be stainless steel, but I didn't test them.

As for the trim rivets, they didn't appear to be anything special to me; just ordinary 3/16" aluminum pop rivets which are available at Home Depot. They do have a big flat head, but that's just the way they are designed. Anyway, even if they're different, whose going to check them to confirm they are identically correct?...they are covered by the weatherstrip retainer.

The only rivet that will be visible is the one retaining the corner "cap" molding, and that is a different rivet (9427909) than the ones attaching the side trim (9428712).
