C2: Need info on '66 Firestone 7.75 tire

I'm looking for someone who still has an original Firestone Deluxe Champion 7.75 x 15 non-DOT tire that came with their '66. If you have such a tire and if you're willing to take a digitial photo of some of the lettering on it, could you e-mail me at beaupre@rrdmail.stanford.edu.

I have some detailed pics of a original Firestone Deluxe Champion 6.95 14" original. Will that help, if so, I'll dig up and send.

Thanks for the offer, but it probably won't help to see another size tire. I've seen a couple of different lettering styles on Firestone Deluxe Champions, so I really need to know what was correct for the 7.75x15's used in '66.

Gary, over the years I have seen variations in lettering on like tires (Goodyear, BFG, General, etc) Would expect to see the same from Firestone. The variations seemed to occur as molds aged and were repaired. NCRS member and former Goodyear employee) Ken Ford explained that some of the companies making the molds interpeted the blueprints slightly different, hense the variations
