    1973 Heater Hoses

I'm researching the correct heater hoses to buy and cannot seem to find a consenses of which ones are correct. Paragon lists the type with the "GM" logo with raised ribs and DR. Rebuild lists the type "JT" script with the raised ribs and NO GM logo. The NCRS Judging Manual states the hoses "may" have the GM logo and some "may" have the white letters "DL" or "U". If the NCRS JG is correct where can I purchase them?

    Here we go again

$100 to the first picture dated from 1973 that shows GM logos on heater hoses.

Good for the callers and raisers!! I enjoyed

the 7000+ mile 63 at Zion that had NO markings on the heater hoses. The overflow from the expansion tank was, however, marked.

            Hmm

Paul I think I will sneak out in the garage and try to catch a hose before someone wipes the logo off. Lyle

              Checked my 73

I still have a few pieces of my 73 heater hose - these are a few inches long.

I had spliced in one of those in-line electric heaters that heat the water and circulate it by convection. It was 1500 watts - worked great but sure ran up the electric bill.

I later cut it out and still have the original heater hoses attached to this heater.

There is 2 ribs close together and another 2 ribs spaced a little farther apart.

There is absolutely no logos of any kind on these hoses. They are absolutely, definitely, no doubt, swear on a stack of bibles - the original hoses.
