The side gears that you're looking for are GM #3820638. These were discontinued quite some time ago. However, they have pretty wide application. They, or their predecessor part numbers, were used on 1956 to 1969 Corvettes without posi as well as all 1955-64 passenger cars without posi.
I'd ckeck with Tom's Differential of Paramount, California. If they don't have them or tell you where you can get them, no one can. As a last resort, you can always go used from any of the above applications. There were a LOT of 55-64 Chevrolet passenger cars built with non-posi rear ends.
You should also consider converting to positration by buying a complete posi case assembly. The OE Eaton type is available as is a cone type from Auburn, which is probably a little cheaper. Tom can get you either one or steer you to a supplier.
When I overhauled my diff I had a choice of either renewing the clutch pack or buying the complete case assembly. Magnaflux inspection of the case showed a crack emanating from the window (very common on a used case), so the choice of a complete new case assembly was a no-brainer, and it wasn't that much more expensive than a replacement clutch pack.
