With the sway bar attached to the frame, {and the links to the trailing arms}, how much pressure, if any, should be required to align and attach the ends of the bar to the links. The sway bar seems wider than the distance between the two links. (It will attach, but puts outward pressure on the links).

Re: 67 REAR SWAY BAR
Rob, I hope you're using a bb front sway bar. I bought my car with a sb front sway bar and a rear sway bar [bb only]. It had a TON of oversteer. I was told by some of the "old hands" that using the unmatched sway bars was the problem. Suprising. I disconnected my rear bar and sure enough, oversteer gone. I won't hook it up again till I get a bb front bar. It's hard to belive that wimpy little rear sway bar actually does something.- Top

I looked at some cars that were sitting on the ground at normal height. It appears that with mine attached, with no weight on the wheels, it appears to be missaligned because the attachment brackets are hanging at a different angle than they will when the car sits on the ground.- Top
