C3 Aux Hardtop Dimensions

Anyone have the outer dimensions for an auxilary hardtop for a 68-75 Corvette convertible. I need the width (across the decklid), height (at rear of door to top), and diagonally (from windshield frame to the chrome tip). Am trying to determine if it will fit in the rear cargo area of a 1997 GMC S10 Jimmy 4dr. Anyone tried this? TIA, Dave

I have a 2000 Grand Cherokee Larado-Simular sized vehicle. It would not fit a C2 (smaller) or a C3 hardtop. Find a friend w/ a truck.

I have transported a C3 hardtop in a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe. It had to be put in side ways. It was a tight fit and required careful blocking to avoid damage. I am sure it would not fit in your vehicle.

Dave measured the top this morning. The width at the rear, point to point is about 47". The distance from the leading edge of a front corner to the opposite side rear tip is 64 1/2-65". The height measured at at the rear of the door to the top is about 13 1/2". If you allow for the extension of the piece that bolts to the side of the top that is used to attach the top with a bolt this would be about 15 inches.
