Re: Where are the classifieds?
George,
At the risk of me being told to "Get outta here and don't come back" I'll attempt to say something.
I too have thought a Classified Section "Post" would be a good idea, maybe it's in the works, but I dunno. I think that right now its only available in print through our paid membership, and noticed it hasn't been done "too much" at the Discussion Board because it's less "Discussin". If the paid membership is the key then maybe an ad for the post would need to be routed through NCRS. Tom- Top

Re: Where are the classifieds?
As administrator of the NDB I can tell you it would not be easy to administer. The Driveline is the FREE classifieds for NCRS MEMBERS. On the Web it would be next to impossible to restrict the posting or reading of ads by non-members. The other factor is that many members still don't have access to the web. This would put them at a distinct disadvantage in the search for parts.
The NCRS Board of Directors are working on plans now to better distribute the Driveline by mail so that every member will receive it on or about the same day. This is due to some members mail being delayed.
I would suspect that some day in the future the NCRS will have a Classified section on this web site, but I wouldn't look for it for it real soon.
In the mean time lets take advantage of the discussion that is available and not clutter this board with ads that I have to delete.
Thanks

Re: Nothing is impossible, nothing.....
At the risk of being "deleted" I'll attempt to say something again.
I would like to agree with George. I think it could be an additional and HUGE service to those of us that ARE on-line, and there could be a good way worked out to manage anything. Just a suggestion but not everything has to be free. Ads can be routed through NCRS, if needed a nominal posting fee could be applied (how about $1.00), etc. I've got a parts ad in the Driveline right now and even though I've had some success, I haven't exactly been "swamped".
