Recently there was a message printed on this web site that a special offer was available for customers of Dr. Rebuild that joined another different chat room. That message was totally false, and no representative or I ever made such an offer verbally or in writing to anyone at anytime. Unless an offer is described in a Dr Rebuild catalog or on the Dr Rebuild web site, you may assume that claim is false.

PS Please contact us by mail, phone, fax or email if you receive or read such an offer.
You should seriously consider selling your business now, since I know you have a handful of interested buyers. You could still make a decent profit and then you can relax, because in a couple of years you won't be able to give it away.
In business sometimes you get black mailed, coerced and derided with phony stories. Some have recklessly tried. It’s a real time consuming endeavor to address this material. And frankly it does distract from making a living. Even when you catch the SOB in a dead lie, there is harm done.
A malicious rumor was started five month’s ago on this web site on March 4, 2003 and apparently it is again making its rounds on the internet.
The person who started this rumor, has now even claimed we are not honoring this promotion – which he actually invented in the first place.

PS Mr. Partick Tigheehee: I know your busy, so I’ll get right down to it. I slept on it and I’m ready to hear your offer.
If this keeps up, I just may have to disown my Marylander ancestors (My umpteenth great uncle, Thomas Hatton was killed at the Battle of Severn in 1650).
It appears to me that Jerry was being facetious, although he was quite subtle about it. I don't think that you should get your Bs in a U over this, cuz it just ain't worth it.
You do, however, have a repuutation for being somewhat acerbic. I know that I, for example, have become somewhat more cantankerous in my dotage, although I try to fight off those moods. Now, you're not as old as I am, so you don't have that excuse.
BTW, if you're that distressed with the blind guy, I'm certain that you would like to dump that tri-power that you bought from him a couple of years ago. I'd offer you $20,000 for it, sight unseen. I'd go higher, but spouse detests black cars and she might not give it garage space. That car would be a first for me; in 20+ daily driver Corvettes, I've never had a black one, nor a tri-power. Hmmmmm. Make that $22K.
