I was replacing the rear brakes and the master cylinder because they quit working. I had redone the fronts last year. I had no helper to pump the brakes. I installed the new master cylinder and bench blead it on the car as I usally do. I was planing on letting the rears gravity bleed as I have had luck doing this in the past. When I unhooked the bench bleeder lines no fluid was driping out so the gravity system wasn,t going to work.I tried some other methods but without a helper nothing worked. I then took a GM quart clear gear lube bottle and put a 1/2" hole in the bottom and a lid with a tappered end like you would use to fill a rear end. I attached a clear tube to the bottle hung upside down from the hood latch to the rear brake line at the master cylinder. I put brake fluid in the bottle and filled the line and then let gravity bleed the rear calipers till their were no bubbles and did beat on them with a rubber hammer. I rebench blead the master cylinder and hooked up the rear line and had great pedal and brakes. This worked for me and the cost for tools was $ 0 and I thought I would pass it on as this subject comes up often on the board. Lyle
