Tiny Mystery Hose in 73 Engine Compartment

There are several hoses there.....
Three in fact. One line supplies raw vacuum to the cowl mounted wiper door control valve (runs along firewall from the LH side of the car). A second line runs through the grommet from the RH, fender mounted, wiper door actuator valve. A third line exits the grommet which terminates in a short/cut end. This is the cowl mounted wiper door control valve's exhaust vent. It's routed under the hood to protect against moisture intrusion.
On A/C equipped cars, a 4th vac line is in this general area (very small diameter hose) but it does not go in/out of the engine compartment. This is the vac control line for the exterior cowl vent makeup air control (does A/C system run by recirculating cabin air or use raw exterior ambient makeup air?).- Top

Re: That's a small hose....
Tom From what I think on a few 73's in my stable their is a special tee that the small hose hooks to. Easy to break off and hard to find locally. I think it then goes thru the firewall. LyleLyle
