    62 Fuelie

I am currently researching a 1962 Fuel Injected Corvette. As I am trying to determine if this car is a true fuelie or one that has been created. I am looking for evidence of alternate part locations. I am reading through my reference materials, I am slightly confused on point of reference. Most references points refer to the right side as passenger and the left side as driver. The tach cable refers to the hole in the firewall being left of center and the dimple used for locating hole for the carburetor model to be right of center. How are these points determined?

    Thanks Ray

    Re: 62 Fuelie

On a real 62 fuelie, the dimple on the firewall will be inboard of the tach cable hole. Carb car is vice versa. Also, windshield washer resevour will be on the right (passenger) side. If you look behind the air cleaner, there should be no evidence of the windshield washer system having been mounted there. Email me if you have more questions, I can send you some pictures if necessary.
