Also pay attention to the screws holding the "S" tube to the support. the correct screws are described in the JG, or at least they used to be, and they are easy to spot if not correct. What part of the country are you looking at, I know of some to avoid.

What was the earliest '65 known to have FI? In fact is there any info about the first 20 cars made? I have #11 365hp Conv. and was curious about when it was made (date?)

'65 VIN's 2, 12, and 22 were injected

Over the years I've heard mention of the HG code engines from these Corvettes. The blocks still exist. They are dated in late May or early June of 1964, I think.

I own the original block from #22. I've been searching for the #22 body for years. That convertible was shipped directly from St. Louis to the Warren, MI, Chevrolet Engineering Office in mid-1964. I doubt it ever rolled out.
