    Here's An Interesting One...

In trying to find authentic parts for my 1960 project, this '66 caught my eye.

Not really. If it is a 427, you are in a mess with that '63 frame. There is no notch in the front crossmember if you want to put a big block back in it. You can get away with it by removing the pulleys each time you change belts and usign the AC mount mount "V" shims to lift the engine slightly or by using undersized crank pulleys (hot rod items).

The rear is straight, not indented, so there is probably a clearance problme with the rear calipers.

And there is no title. Alabama doesn't require titles, but I believe Georgia does.

------Just a thought, but what would you do with the body mounts?Would you use the rubber or go without as would have been correct in 63?How would the body sit in relation to the frame if you use a set of 66 frame mounts?I dont believe I have ever seen anyone attempt to use a 63 frame under anything other than a 63.Im sure someone other than this guy has tried. How would this work?........Bill S
