    W-1

On the tails housing (alum) is: T10K-7

There is a date stamped on the tail housing but can't read - - - either 1-20-62 or 1-2-65 or ?

    Bob-----

The main case you have, a T-10-1B was used on Chevrolet passenger cars and Corvette from late 1959 through early 1961. It's, indeed, a cast iron case.

T-10K-7 is not a designation that I am familiar with. I don't think that it was ever originally used on any Chevrolet, but it may have been used on some other GM application or a Ford or Chrysler application of the T-10.
