    '70 #16610 carb ?

Hello again,It's been a while.Well,it's getting close.Almost time to go back to restoring instead of driving my corvette up here in Cleveland.I beleive I may have found a carburetor for my '70 #16610 L46 with air but,I'm not sure. It's a Carter Q-jet 7040202 dated April 1970.Is this carb.correct for my car?If not, what date and brand Q-jet would be.Thanks, Barney

if a L-46 is a 350/350 HP you need a 7040207 the 7040202 is for the 300 HP engine used in all chevy lines.

Clem's got it. Also, if you look for a correct 7040207 it can be either a Rochester-manufactured Q-Jet or a Carter-manufactured Q-Jet. Both were used beginning about 1970.
