Yep, my car had one. It also had an air conditioner, so perhaps the original owner added a few things. I've never seen any reference to a trunk light, so is it indeed not original?

Outstanding advice . . .
but I have one (as well as the ST-12 and Nolands guide) and I already checked there. During disassembly (years ago) I assumed the trunk light was standard. Now that I'm reassembling, I checked the AIM earlier today (before I posted this question and got your excellent advice) and started to guess maybe the light was owner added. But I don't know that for sure.
As we all know, the AIM is missing a LOT of things. The power window wiring harness for example (also an issue for today). So I don't see the harm in posing this question.

The trunk light would have been an owner inspired modification. Kinda nice to have, since your car has some new owner inspired mods. Are you about to get that heap on the road? I remember something about two Augusts ago as a target date!!. Looking forward to pics of the finished product.Comment

mike: never seen a factory installed trunk lite in a c-1. seen a lot of brewskies chilling where the spare tire normally rests but don't think brew left st.. louise with c-1s either. good luck, mikeComment
