69 a/c question

hello all,

i am currently having the a/c installed in my 69 350/350 (w/ a/c naturally). my shop was telling me there are "late" and "early" systems on 69's, specifically the hoses to and from the muffler. I think the "late" systems have crimped hoses and the "early' have clamped hoses. I have vin# 25,5xx. could anyone advise if I should have the "early" or "late" sysytem? I would guess late but i am no expert. TIA

I think that you would expect to see crimped ends on '69's. '68's had the clamped ends.

My early '69 (Oct '68) has crimped connections. I know these to be all the original hoses.

My '69 350/350 march car, #193xx has clamped hoses like the '68's. I know the hoses to be original.
