I would like to find out if a '63 without a radio had the outside spark plug shields in addition to the J shaped spark plug heat shields. The TIMJG only says that the right side is chrome and the left side is stainless steel. It is my understanding that these shields were for radio RIF suppression, and that were not installed on Vetts without a radio. Thanks Len #39247
1963 Corvettes without radio did not have any of the RF shielding, including the spark plug OUTER shields. They did have the zinc plated heat shields, though.
Joe; Thanks for your informative reply. You confirmed for me what my understanding was of the presence or absence of shielding was. It is great to have such a collection of expeertise as exists on this board. Len #39247
