The AIM shows a rubber shim (for the bolts) on the frame, then a metal shim on top of that. Then the body. I bought a body mounting kit, the instructions show the metal shim on the frame and the rubber shim on top of the metal shim. It seems that the rubber shim should be in contact with the body, not the metal shim. Do the rubber pads go across the frame or do they go paralell with the frame. Thanks as always. Joe DeLuca #37862
I am in the process of lifting the body off my 61. I checked the body mount in front of the right door and it was frame, rubber, shims, 1/2 to 5/8 tape and body. I will email you a picture.
