59 frame blackout and undercoating

is the portion of the frame in the wheel wells supposed to have undercoating overspray and the part near the engine compartment supposed to have blackout overspray on it

Bob -

The sound deadener application in the front wheel wells was light, and varied a lot; it was visible on the splash shield behind the tire. The original chassis blackout was primarily from the transmission rearward, to keep the spray off the engine. There are many divergent opinions on this subject
