Paint Color

For 1966, the paint code for Trophy Blue is 980. For 67, the paint code for Elkhart Blue is 980.

Are these actually the same color with a different name for the different year, or they different colors with the same paint code?

Paint code numbers aren't necessarily unique across model years. To find out, check the PPG data base (www.autocolorlibrary.com) for cross reference to specific supplier blend code....

PPG numbeer for '66 Trophy Blue is 13199, '67 Elkhart Blue is 13347, slightly different colors.
