      Mine looks flat but it is difficult to see because the steering box is in the way. Terry

          Terry thanks for looking but the problem is actually the passenger side between the #1 body mount and were the steering linkage bolts to the frame.

              Gary I don't have a digital camera, but I did look at my original owners 68 convertible frame. There is a slight buldge in my 68's frame that starts forward of the #1 body mount right about where the fuel line and return fuel line come on top of the frame at this point. Don't see any creases that you mention. Can you post a picture?

                  Is this the area in question?

                  The gray frame is a late '68, the black one is a '69. Both apear same in this area. e-mail me if you need any other detail photos. -k
