If memory serves your AIM book will call out several PN's (alternate suppliers) and this flasher PN (alarm) should dovetail to what's used in the 4-way emergency flasher position (fuse block mounted). One of the recognized vendors (memory says there were three qualified) IS Ideal Corp with its 536 model....

If you remove the flasher from its mounting clip and look CLOSELY at the can, you should be able to makeout the DOT date code for the flasher assy! look for a three number embossed sequence with the first two digits being the week of the year and the last being the digit of the year of manufacture.

      John-----

None of the 3 flashers used in PRODUCTION for this application were ever available in SERVICE. The SERVICE replacement for the last 20+ years has been GM #491391. You can still buy it today from any GM dealer. It may or may not be similar to your original in terms of configuration. It will be entirely functional, though.

John, if you hold your relay between your legs while looking in a mirror
you should be able to make out what a ---head you are. Just kidding. Big John
