1967 horns.

I am looking for an original set of delco horns for my corvette. My build date was 11-01-66. Would I look for horns from a 66 or 67?
Were their any other chevy models that had the same horns?

you'll need pre dec 66 dated horns and they'll be difficult to find. GM pass cars of the era also used a clamshell style horn but the pass car horn parts #'s will differ from the vette as will the mounting brackets spot-welded to the horn body.Both of these problems can be overcome though. mike

Try contacting these two gents. Ron Goralski (410) 987-1948 or Dennis Portka (716) 649-0921. They both have a supply of horns and also restore them. Also Corvettes of Maryland has horns. Horns with the part #s of 9000487, low-note (LH) and 9000488, high-note (RH) were used from 1964-1967. Good luck

Dave, I can't say enough good about Ron Goralski. I had my C2 horns rebuilt/ restored by him this past spring and they turned out great! Quick turnaround, too.
