C2-Console Paint Question

Do I use interior dye to paint my center console? Also, which paint do I used for the dash cluster face and glove compartment outer edge. I currently have black interior dye (from Long Island Corvette), and a semi-flat and semi-gloss paint at my disposal. I'm abit confused.

I would paint any soft trim or plastic trim with the "dye". The "dye" is actually more of a paint than a true dye, although it does have some "dye-like" properties. Metal trim can also be painted with the "dye", if you want it to exactly match the adjoining soft trim. Ohterwise, use the appropriate paint on the metal.
