    59 fresh air inlet

    is it supposed to be black? the manual on page 69 says the inlet plenum should be unpainted are they the same thing? can someone clear this up

    Yeah, Bob. I'd say one and the same thing. The plastic material used to make them is "black", so nothing needs to done to them.

      Bob, when I restored my '60 heater, I sanded the plenum with fine grit sandpaper to take out the years of scratches, paint, grime, etc, then shot it with semi-gloss polyurethane. It turned out looking like a brand new factory unit.
