I see occasional references in discussions to discounted GM parts. Other than trying to find the rare dealer who will discount, are there any reputable sites or outlets that provide genuine GM parts at discount?

There are really quite a few. One of the ones that a lot of folks on this board use is GM Parts Direct at www.gmpartsdirect.com. I generally use another source, but this one is convenient for many folks.

Ron, you can order discounted GM parts online through websites, and the prices are good. The thing you have to watch is the freight and handling charges; I have found that exoritant freight and handling charges will sometimes more than make up for the discount. Use the total cost of procuring the part in your analysis. Caveat emptor.
