C1 - 61 2x4 Carbs

Can anyone suggest replacement carbs for a dual quad that I can use untill my mortgage is approved for real ones??? Seriously, is there an Edelbrok or something else that is small enough to match up??? Thanks!!!

I don't know of any. If you have a manifold, you can pick up a couple of individual WCFB's on eBay or at a swap meet and make them work. I ocassionally see complete 2X4 setups on eBay pretty cheap, but usually they are "made from parts" units.

WCFB's were used on Mopar engines in the 50's and 60's. mike

Maybe I'm way off the mark, but for temporary carboration, maybe consider getting another manifold and a single 4 barrel carb. Probably find newer 4 barrel more efficient than original set up anyway until you can justify the expense to get back to original. If you can contact Gary Hodges, NCRS member and an authority on carbs(used to live in Salem Oregon)I'd be pretty sure he would have a solution for you.

I actually have a correct single 4 manifold with an Eddelbrock 600 cfm on it. I was hoping that there was an Eddelbrock 300 cfm that would work with the 2x4 but Igusee not. Maybe I'll work on getting the 2x4 minifold cleaned up and start the hunt for the correct carbs (and ask for Santa's help!!!).
