Re: C3 - 69 Emission Decal Question
John-----
I have no record of the "CK" emissions label, although I now believe that it was used. However, I expect that its use was limited to later 1969s, possibly about mid-production onward. I have no idea where to obtain one.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: C3 - 69 Emission Decal Question
Joe,
Does your comment regarding "no record" mean that the PN listed in the JG does not cross? Why do now believe that it was used?
So, does this mean that in an NCRS judge's eyes a BB car equiped with a "CJ" is correct?
Should the JG be modified to reflect this?
Thanks,
John- Top

Re: C3 - 69 Emission Decal Question
John-----
I have not been able to find any record of the part number for the "CK" label. However, I have it on good authority that it did exist and so, although I once doubted it, I now believe that it did.
The "CK" code label is shown in the current edition of the 68-69 judging manual for A/C applications. Like I mentioned, though, I don't think that this label was used from the beginning of the model year. What label was used for A/C cars between the beginning of the model year and the first use of the "CK" label, I do not know.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
